C.H.I.L.D. - Mission

Children's Hope International Literacy & Development (C.H.I.L.D.), a non-profit organization, was founded in 2004 and is based in Laguna Hills, California.

C.H.I.L.D. is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit humanitarian organization, founded by dedicated volunteers with the aim of providing hope, healing, and opportunity to children around the world. Our love for children inspires our commitment to make better education, healthcare, nutrition, and opportunities for growth and development a part of every child's life. Our hope is to secure a self-sufficient and productive future for every child.

C.H.I.L.D. strives to motivate volunteer and donor participation in helping to meet the physical and emotional needs of disadvantaged children. By informing, training, and mobilizing volunteers, raising funds through donor support, and by collaborating with other organizations, we work to deliver critically needed aid and services, and support ongoing programs in the areas of education, hunger relief, medical assistance, self-sufficiency, and disaster relief.

C.H.I.L.D. is a non-profit organization that operates completely within California State Laws. All contributions to C.H.I.L.D are tax-deductible under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

C.H.I.L.D. has been established entirely with the help and contributions of its many members and continues to function under their guidance. All of our accomplishments, including the efforts of our board members, are a result of volunteer work, which is the key component of our success.

C.H.I.L.D.' s robust and flexible infrastructure enables us to manage the many needs of our members, and allows for future improvements and growth. Our close relationship with our successful and recognized members allows us to effectively respond, assist, and cooperate with those who turn to C.H.I.L.D for assistance.
